Dragon 6097 8,8cm Rakettenwerfer Pupchen w.Crew (1/35) – plastic model kit

Dragon 6097 8,8cm Rakettenwerfer Pupchen w.Crew in 1/35 scale is a high-quality plastic model kit that realistically recreates the German anti-tank launcher from World War II. The set includes both a detailed replica of the Raketenwerfer 43 "Püppchen" itself as well as a crew figure, allowing you to create a dynamic historical diorama vignette.

Historical background and use

The 8.8cm Raketenwerfer 43, also known as the "Püppchen" (German for "doll"), was a rocket-propelled weapon introduced into service by the Wehrmacht in 1943, during World War II. The Germans used this unique launcher on both the Eastern and Western fronts, most often for combating Allied tanks and armored vehicles. Its construction featured a barrel on a rigid, wheeled mount, making it more precise than the popular Panzerschreck while retaining the ability to fire powerful 88 mm rocket projectiles. The "Püppchen" was used until the last days of the war; however, due to its higher cost and weight, it was not produced in large numbers.

Kit contents and features

  • 1/35 scale model – detailed reproduction of the Raketenwerfer 43 construction
  • Crew replica perfectly matched to the gun position
  • High-quality plastic – precise sprues typical of Dragon
  • Sprue parts allowing realistic positioning of the model and figures
  • Decals for accurate model markings

Difficulty level and recommended modeller group

Thanks to the included figures, the kit also works great as an expansion for a World War II diorama.

Why choose this kit?

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
