FPW Model 72603 Fiat 125p MR67 Straż Pożarna 1/72

FPW Model 72603 Fiat 125p, MR67, Straż Pożarna 1/72 is a precise resin model of a fire truck, faithfully reproducing one of the most characteristic adaptations of the iconic Fiat 125p in the rescue service of the Polish Fire Brigade. The model is made in 1/72 scale, making it an ideal addition to a collection of special service vehicles from the Cold War era and the 1960s and 1970s.

The Fiat 125p MR67, produced in Poland since the late 1960s, was widely used by various formations—including fire brigade units across the country. The fire service versions were adapted by installing sirens, warning lights, radios, and necessary rescue tools and specialist bodywork elements, allowing for rapid travel and operations in urban and suburban areas.

  • Scale: 1/72
  • Country of use: Poland
  • Historical period: Cold War (1960s–1980s)
  • Material: resin model with photo-etched (metal) details and vacuform glazing
  • Unique extras: Decals for 2 painting versions ("Straż" in two variants), resin beacons, megaphones, two types of sirens, dedicated roof lightbar (photo-etched part)
  • Category: resin model kit with photo-etched and vacuform extras
  • Kit does not include glue or paints

FPW Model 72603 is designed for advanced modelers and collectors interested in PRL-related themes and rescue vehicles. The precise craftsmanship, additional photo-etched and resin details, as well as the option to personalize the paint scheme, make this model a unique gem in any collection of miniature fire vehicles.

We rate the assembly difficulty of this model at level 4/5—detailed, tiny parts require skill and patience, but the reward is an extremely realistic and historically authentic final effect. We highly recommend it to all fans of Polish automotive history and modeling who wish to create an unusual PRL-era diorama or enrich their collection of unique special vehicles.

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
