Aber 72L-58 Set of 2 gun barrels for KwK 38 1/72

Aber 72L-58 Set of 2 gun barrels for KwK 38 1/72 is a high-class modeling accessory designed for demanding modelers who wish to recreate German combat vehicles from World War II with the utmost precision. The set includes two precisely turned metal gun barrels for the KwK 38 cannon in 1/72 scale. This product is made by the renowned brand Aber, well known for its modeling accessories of exceptional quality.

The KwK 38 (Kampfwagenkanone 38) is a 20 mm automatic cannon that was widely used by the armed forces of the Third Reich. It was the main armament of light tanks such as the Panzer II, reconnaissance vehicles like the Sd.Kfz. 222, and other German armored vehicles. The cannon was in service from 1938 to 1945, mainly during World War II. Thanks to its versatility and the ability to fire various types of ammunition, the KwK 38 was an effective tool against targets with thin armor, on both the Western and Eastern fronts.

The barrels in the set are replicated in L/65 and L/112 versions – 65 or 112 calibers in length – maintaining the original proportions and rifling details. They are machined from top-quality metal, which guarantees not only excellent durability and resistance to damage, but also sharp, crisp details. Metal barrels are much better than plastic equivalents, as they enhance the realism of the model and increase its collector’s value. The set does not contain plastic parts for gluing; it is intended as a professional additional modeling element for selected 1/72 scale vehicle models.
