Sd.Kfz. 9 “Famo” was the heaviest half-track vehicle used by the German army during World War II (1939-1945). It served primarily as an artillery tractor and recovery vehicle capable of towing damaged tanks and heavy combat vehicles. Its off-road capability and durability meant it was used on all fronts of the conflict, including operations such as Barbarossa and the fighting in North Africa.

Using the Panzer Art RE35-505 wheels allows for an authentic display of the vehicle while maintaining historical accuracy. The precise tread pattern and clear Continental signature give the model a unique, realistic appearance and make it stand out among other competition and collectors’ works.

Assembly difficulty level: 2/5 (basic experience with resin and the use of professional modeling adhesives and tools are recommended).

Recommendation: We recommend this set to all modelers looking to enhance realism in dioramas and World War II vehicle builds. It is an excellent choice for both military history enthusiasts and competition modelers passionate about perfect detail reproduction.
