Aber 16143 Tiger I, E Tunezyjski z 501 Abt.- boczne błotniki 1/16

We present an exceptional set of Aber 16143 photo-etched accessories dedicated to the Tiger I E tank model in the Tunisian configuration, used by the 501st Heavy Tank Battalion of the Afrika Korps (s.Pz.Abt.501) during the North African campaign of World War II. The scale of the product is 1/16, which ensures outstanding accuracy in reproducing even the smallest details.

The distinctive feature of the Aber 16143 set is the side fenders made using photo-etching technology from precisely cut, high-quality brass sheet. Thanks to this, you get thinness and scale thickness of the parts exactly matching the original. The set also includes small brackets and details, allowing for a realistic and impressive finish of the Tiger I E model in the Tunisian version.

The Tiger I Ausf. E vehicles reproduced in this series became famous for their participation in the African front between 1942–1943. It was in the Tunisian climate, among sand and dust, that special modifications were used—including fenders adapted to the challenges of desert conditions. The 501st Battalion was one of the first German units to operate the legendary Tigers in North Africa, taking part, among others, in the Battle of Medjez el Bab.

  • Product class: photo-etched accessories for plastic models in 1/16 scale
  • Material: high-detail brass sheet
  • Intended use: designed for self-assembly into 1/16 scale Tiger I E (Tunisian version) plastic models
  • Realistic details: includes mounts, reinforcements, and assembly details for the side fenders
  • Manufacturer: renowned Polish company Aber
  • Historical period: World War II, North African campaign

We recommend the Aber 16143 set to all demanding modelers who wish to maximize the realism and authenticity of their Tiger I E models from the African front. This is an excellent product for advanced modelers (difficulty level 4/5), but also useful for intermediate 1/16 scale enthusiasts who want to increase the level of detail in their diorama or collector projects. Every fan of armored legends from World War II will appreciate this professional addition to their collection.

Scale
1/16

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
