Airfix 1362 German Light Tank Pz.Kpfw.35(t) 1/35 – Plastic model light tank kit

Airfix 1362 German Light Tank Pz.Kpfw.35(t) in 1/35 scale is a highly refined plastic model kit representing a light tank used by the German armed forces during World War II. This model allows you to recreate one of the most interesting armored vehicles from the early war campaigns in your own workshop.

  • Scale: 1/35 – ensures high detail and precise replication of the original tank.
  • Country of use: Germany; initially also Czechoslovakia, and later Slovakia, Romania, and Bulgaria.
  • Period of use: World War II, early years of the conflict (1939-1942).
  • Material: high-quality plastic – guarantees easy and clean part removal as well as good durability of the assembled model.
  • Add-ons: the set does not include glue or paints – we recommend acquiring appropriate modeling accessories before starting assembly.
  • Category: plastic model kit

The Airfix 1362 model allows for an accurate recreation of the Pz.Kpfw.35(t) tank – originally produced as the LT vz. 35 for the Czechoslovak army. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia by Germany in 1939, over 240 of these vehicles were incorporated into the Wehrmacht. This tank took part in the most important operations of the early phase of WWII – the September Campaign in Poland, the Battle of France, as well as the invasion of the Soviet Union (Operation Barbarossa). Despite initial successes, it soon proved insufficient – its thin armor and limited operational capability in the harsh conditions of the Eastern Front led to its withdrawal by 1942.

Assembly difficulty: 3/5 – we recommend this model to intermediate modelers who already have experience building tanks in this scale. Assembly requires care and precision but offers great satisfaction for military history enthusiasts.

Airfix 1362 German Light Tank Pz.Kpfw.35(t) 1/35 is a must-have for all WWII tank model collectors and fans of Axis armored vehicles. The vehicle’s rich history, meticulous part design, and abundance of details provide an excellent building and display experience.

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
