Historical description of the models

I-370 was a Type C2 submarine, primarily intended for transporting supplies and strategic materials to isolated islands, later modified to carry Yokosuka MXY7 Ohka kamikaze aircraft. She entered service in 1944 and took part in operations during the final months of World War II in the Pacific, until her sinking in February 1945.
I-68 is a Kaidai VI class representative, one of the Japanese fleet’s most important ocean-going submarines. She took an active part in combat from the beginning of the Pacific War, performing patrol, reconnaissance, and offensive missions in 1941-1942.
