This kit enables you to assemble versions of the FH-1 Phantom used by both the US Navy’s Blue Angels and Gray Angels demonstration teams, as well as in training roles during the early Cold War, right after World War II (in service: 1947–1954). This aircraft was the first jet fighter to serve on US Navy aircraft carriers, and its history is closely tied to the development of modern American naval aviation. The FH-1 Phantom was mainly used for testing, training, and by Navy aerobatic teams.

The set includes high-quality injection-molded parts, a comprehensive decal sheet for several historical markings, and detailed instructions. Notable features include sharply engraved panel lines and realistically reproduced cockpit and landing gear details.
