Hataka HTK-BS02 Early Luftwaffe paint set (4x17ml)
Hataka HTK-BS02 Early Luftwaffe paint set (4x17ml) is a high-quality set of acrylic paints designed for painting models of German aircraft from the early phase of World War II. This set was developed specifically with historical modelers in mind, focused on recreating the authentic colors of the Luftwaffe used from the late 1930s to the early 1940s. The unique selection of colors guarantees a perfect representation of painting schemes from the so-called "two-green splinter camouflage" period, based on authentic RLM standards.
- HTK-B015 - Black-Green (RLM70): mainly used on the upper surfaces of airframes in the characteristic two-green disruptive scheme (70+71/65), and also as the standard color for propeller blades on Luftwaffe fighters.
- HTK-B017 - Dark Green (RLM71): applied as the second of the green shades on upper surfaces. A typical color for Luftwaffe fighter aircraft, especially those used during the Battle of Britain.
- HTK-B023 - Grey (RLM02): used both on upper surfaces of day aircraft during the Battle of Britain and for molting camouflage, applied in the form of spots or by airbrush.
- HTK-B029 – Light Blue (RLM65): the basic color of lower surfaces in the early period of World War II, later also extended to the sides of combat aircraft fuselages.
Hataka products are made from high-quality components, and the paint set is packaged in 17 ml bottles. The acrylic paints feature deep colors, excellent coverage, and quick drying, which significantly increases the comfort of the modeler's work. The special formula allows application with both brush and airbrush.
