MiniArt 41001 Fl 282 V-6 KOLIBRI (1/35) – Plastic Model Kit

MiniArt 41001 Fl 282 V-6 KOLIBRI is a high-quality plastic model kit in the popular 1:35 scale. This kit represents the German autogyro helicopter Fl 282 Kolibri in the V-6 version – an innovative design from World War II that made its mark in aviation history as one of the first reconnaissance helicopters to be produced in series.

  • Scale: 1:35
  • Manufacturer: MiniArt
  • Country of use: Germany (Third Reich)
  • Historical era: World War II (1941–1945)
  • Material: High-quality plastic (polystyrene)
  • Category: Plastic model kit

The MiniArt 41001 model faithfully reproduces the details of the real Fl 282 Kolibri autogyro designed for reconnaissance, liaison, and observation missions. Both the prototype and the serial versions of the Kolibri were used by the German Luftwaffe mainly in the later stages of the war, serving, among others, in the Balkans and for artillery and naval observation. The characteristic lightweight frame construction, open cockpit, and distinct rotor assembly details are all accurately replicated in the kit. Interestingly, the Kolibri (German for “Hummingbird”) was one of the first helicopters in the world to be used in operational service.

The kit includes sprues with sharply molded surface details, clear cockpit parts, a pilot’s seat, a detailed engine, and a set of decals that allow for authentic World War II markings. Glue and paints are not included – they must be purchased separately according to your own color preferences.

We recommend this kit to both aviation history enthusiasts and advanced military modelers who appreciate innovative designs and detailed replication. Due to the number of parts and intricate details, we suggest it for modelers with intermediate to advanced experience.

  • Assembly difficulty level: 3/5
  • Who is it for? For historical modeling enthusiasts, aviation fans, and collectors of World War II models

By choosing the MiniArt 41001 Fl 282 V-6 KOLIBRI, you’re adding a unique piece to your collection that reflects the spirit of technical innovation in German aviation during the greatest conflict of the 20th century.

Scale
1/35

What does the scale of the model mean?

A model scale designation such as 1:30 means the model is 30 times smaller than the original. Scale indicates proportion, not resolution or detail.

  • Models with a smaller number after the colon (e.g. 1:48, 1:32) are larger and have more detail.
  • Scales with higher numbers (e.g. 1:164, 1:200, 1:350) are smaller - good for collections, dioramas, or displaying many models together.
