Dragon 7237 AAV-7 UPGRADE 1/72

Dragon 7237 AAV-7 UPGRADE (1/72)

The plastic scale model kit Dragon 7237 AAV-7 UPGRADE in 1/72 scale is a precisely reproduced miniature of the American amphibious armored personnel carrier AAV-7A1. This model is designed for military modelers who wish to enrich their collection with a vehicle that currently serves as the primary infantry fighting vehicle of the United States Marine Corps. The AAV-7 (Amphibious Assault Vehicle), also known as the LVTP-7, was introduced into service in the mid-1970s during the Cold War and is still used by the US Marine Corps and the armed forces of many other countries, including Brazil, South Korea, and Taiwan.

The AAV-7 has proven itself in numerous operations, including landings in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm and in conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. It features steel armor, the ability to operate both on land and water, a capacity to carry up to 25 soldiers, and is armed with a machine gun and a grenade launcher.

The Dragon AAV-7 UPGRADE model in 1/72 scale is made of high-quality plastic for easy assembly and enhanced durability of the components. The kit includes finely detailed elements such as armor, suspension, weaponry, and the interior of the troop compartment. The upgraded edition offers extra parts, such as improved external detailing and accessories, allowing you to build an authentic vehicle from the modern era. The kit does not include glue or paints – these must be purchased separately, giving the user the option to personalize the finish.
