Produkowany od drugiej połowy lat 70. do chwili obecnej F-16, jest użytkowany przez siły powietrzne 25 krajów, w tym Polski (pierwsze dostawy nastąpiły 8 listopada 2006 roku). Do końca 2003 wyprodukowano 4129 egzemplarzy.

General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon - a multi-role aircraft built by the American General Dynamics company, which is now part of the Lockheed Martin defense concern. Manufactured from the second half of the 1970s until now, the F-16 is used by the air force of 25 countries, including Poland (the first deliveries took place on November 8, 2006). By the end of 2003, 4,129 units had been produced.
