The fast assault boat, also called the S boat, is a torpedo boat that served in the German Navy in World War II. The S boat is about twice the size of similar boats in the United Kingdom and the United States, which makes it more suitable for high seas navigation and has a greater endurance, about 700 nautical miles. The S-100 class fast attack craft is equipped with two 20mm anti-aircraft guns in the middle and one 37mm anti-aircraft gun in the rear.
